When designing rooms, lighting is a key factor. It can completely change the look and feel of a room, it sets the mood and atmosphere and can highlight key features too.

There are so many styles and designs. Ceiling, wall, table, floor, spot, track to name a few. When looking at how to light up a room think of the room use. Does it need to be bright throughout? Does it need to have a focal point for light? Do you want to create a mood with subtle lighting?   So many choices to make on style, budget, colour, shape. Where do you start? When I design a room the first thing I ask my clients is room use. This sets the tone for the style to use and kicks off my search in the right areas.
